I have heard the best news I have heard in a long time. After nearly 5 months, I AM MEDICALLY qualified! I will be contacted by my placement officer soon. ON to the next step. This is becoming more and more real as time goes on (:

Read part of the letter below (click on the picture):

After months and months of having a bunch of test run, and doing everything to fulfill medical requirements. I am finished! After FIVE looooong months. I want to scream!

I spoke to my Dad, who has always encouraged me to follow my gut, and he’s taking me out to celebrate. I am so grateful to have a fantastic support system.

I am so close to dream. I had a period of time when I was in doubt, but doubts can hinder you. I am definitely headed in the right direction.

Post-College Life…

….Or as I like to call it,”Explore unique Hobbies” time!

DO THIS: (1) drink cranberry juice with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs sprinkled on top*

(2) Watch “The Big Comfy Couch” in the dark at 2:00 am

(3) Prepare to feel like a CHAMPION.

Should I be worried or proud that Microsoft Paint is the second most opened software on my computer?

*Drink with your pinky raised. It won’t work if your pinky is not raised. trust me.

Seriously though. waiting sucks. I have SO much time until my *departure* date (Peace Corps). I think the antsy-ness I’m feeling is making me a little bit cray-cray. So, I’m going to fill in that time by volunteering, learning to play the ukulele (two years after I bought the uke), and applying to a sh*t ton of paid AND unpaid internships, cause I have standards (HAHA).

Get on my level of fancy -Mani

This is craazy

UPDATE: I figured out how to get my cap to fit on my head without betraying my natural hair. I did a twist-out. It twas extra cute…

Its been 4 long years. I will be graduating in 2 weeks!! That is insane.

My class size is only about 200 (probably less) and we threw a very awesome Senior Gala. I wore a white and black halter dress and I looked pretty dang good in it. 2 weeks and I will no longer be a college student. 2 weeks and I will be entering the “real world”.

College feels like an endless, awesome sleepover. I’m going to miss this freedom. I don’t know if there will ever be a time like this again. I danced, not caring what I looked like (see my post about my awesome dance skills). I had a Blast.

TWO WEEKS and I will have a diploma that says I earned something. Two weeks and I have so much to figure out. I’m ready (: Looking forward to the PC. Looking forward to whatever life brings me.

The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.
